Audio conference registrants will receive in advance from NACSW a telephone number and code to use to dial in on the day of the audio conference workshop. Please note that the call-in number provided by NACSW is not a tollfree number. It is our experience, however, phone cards are now available that enable you to make long distance calls, often for less than $0.05/minute, or under $6.00 for the two-hour call.

NACSW audio conference workshops are interactive (there are question and answer sessions dispersed throughout each workshop), and participants can earn 1.25 continuing education contact hours accredited by the Association of Social Work Boards by receiving a score of at least 80% on an open-book post-event quiz focused on workshop content. A PowerPoint agenda is available made available for each session via NACSW’s website or via email.

Audio conference workshops are particularly cost-effective for groups of staff or students, who can participate via speakerphone at a single low-cost registration fee of just $75 (or free for organizational members of NACSW). Groups registering as organizations are entitled to call in from up to three separate phone lines (these lines can originate from locations in different cities or even different states/provinces).
