Curriculum Modules

NACSW collects curriculum modules designed by NACSW members and friends to help social work faculty ethically integrate faith and spirituality into their social work curriculum. Curriculum modules are educational units delivered as part of a social work course. Below you will find links to the modules we have collected since spring, 2009.

Views expressed by authors of these curriculum modules are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of NACSW. Publication in the curriculum modules section of NACSW's website in no way implies endorsement or certification of the author's qualifications, ability, or proficiency to integrate faith and practice or practice social work. NACSW does not assume responsibility for readers' efforts to apply or utilize information contained in these curriculum modules.

If you would like to submit a curriculum module to be considered for posting on this webpage (and eventually for publication in resource handbook NACSW is planning to publish), we would welcome a module submission from you using the template that can be found at www.nacsw.org/Module.htm. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least two members of NACSW’s curriculum module steering committee. Faculty using various approaches for integrating faith and spirituality in their courses may contact Dr. Michael E. Sherr (michael_sherr@baylor.edu), chair of the resource book steering committee, to discuss ideas for developing curriculum modules for submission.
