It is my privilege and honor to welcome you to the 2013 NACSW Conference! The conference theme, ““Social Justice: Contributions of Faith and Spirituality” promises to challenge all of us in the integration of our faith and our professions, and I am SURE we will enjoy all that the great Atlanta has to offer! We will be blessed with learning and growing with each other, and connecting and sharing our faith together! I hope to see you there!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2013 NACSW Convention. The theme of this conference, “Social Justice: Contributions of Faith and Spirituality,” reflects the Biblical challenge for Christians to “act justly” and to care for “the least of these” among us. This conference will help Christians who are social workers examine ways of responding to this challenge in both their professional and personal lives. It is fitting that this meeting takes place in Atlanta, given the history of social justice movements in the South and the contributions that Christians have made through their engagement in these efforts to ensure justice and well-being for all of God’s children. Please join us as we study how we can advance the kingdom of God on earth.
