Marleen Milner

"Gratitude as an Anchor of Hope in Challenging Times"

Abstract: The practice of gratitude has been shown to be positively correlated with numerous positive mental and physical health outcomes.  We live in an age of anxiety, but in the giving of thanks we reorient our souls to the God who is the source of all hope and joy, and anchor our souls to the only sure foundation.

Psalms 71: 14-15
As for me, I will always have hope;

I will praise you more and more.

My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds,

of your saving acts all day long—

though I know not how to relate them all.
