Details forthcoming | Morning Worship For the first time in its 67 year history, NACSW is excited to announce that we will close down Convention 2017 on Sunday, November 5th by worshiping at a community church in downtown Charlotte (instead of holding our own separate worship service in the convention hotel as has been our tradition in the past). Interested convention participants will carpool and share Uber rides to one or two churches in the downtown area, depending on how many participate. Restaurants nearby will be suggested for lunch on your own. After lunch, those who are interested may then join the group visiting the nearby Museum of the New South (www.museumofthenewsouth.org), a unique and interactive museum housing the nation’s most comprehensive interpretation of post-Civil War Southern history. This tour will include a special focus on the Civil Rights Movement and its many accomplishments. We hope you plan to join us for this special time together on Sunday morning, November 5th to wrap up Convention 2017 in Charlotte! |
