CE Accreditation Information: NACSW, provider #1078, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program – ASWB Approval Period: – 1/27/24 – 1/27/27. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. NACSW maintains responsibility for this training.
Requirements for Earning Continuing Education Contact Hours: Requirements to earn continuing education contact hours for self-paced distance learning trainings include: a) watching or listening to the entire video or audio recording; b) receiving a grade of 80% or better on the “open-book” online post-training quiz provided via a link to participants; c) completing and submitting an on-line evaluation of this session provided via a link to participants. Training participants who meet these three requirements will be able to download a CE Certificate immediately following the submission of their training evaluation.
Registration Fee and Refunds: The registration fee covers engaging in all the required materials provided by the on-line training as well as costs associated with maintaining the website which supports the training materials, as well as CEU certificate administration. Refunds, minus a 20% administrative fee, are available upon request within 15 days of purchasing/enrolling in a training. No refunds or exchanges are available once the training quiz has been opened.
Grievance Procedure: Any individual who has a complaint regarding any aspect of this training should communicate in writing to the executive director of NACSW within 30 days after having completed the training. Interactivity: Because this is a self-paced learning distance session, there is no direct contact and/or communication between the individual taking this training and the session speaker. Interactivity for this training consists of the interaction between a person registered for this training session and the materials and content offered in this session.
Timeframe for Grading of Quizzes and Issuing CE Certificates: Post-training quizzes are graded immediately (in real time) by the system software, and upon receiving a grade of 80% or more on the quiz and also submitting a session evaluation online, you will be able to download an electronic copy of CE Certificate immediately (in real time). If you receive a grade of less than 80% the first time you take the post-training quiz, you may take it multiple times until you achieve a grade of 80%, after which you will be able to submit an evaluation and then download your CE Certificate.
