Convention CE Hours 2024 – Virtual

Continuing Education Contact Hours (CEs) for NACSW’s Virtual Convention

CE Credits:

NACSW, provider #1078, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. The final authority for approving any continuing education activity rests with the state or province in which the participant is licensed. Training participants are still responsible to check with their local authorities to verify that convention offerings meet their jurisdictional standards for continuing education credit and/or licensure renewal. Even states accepting ACE approval may have exceptions for courses they will approve.

NACSW is able to offer CEs for all live remote workshops as well as the livestreamed panel session and all plenary/keynote presentations. NACSW is not able to offer CEs for any of the following which may be livestreamed: devotions, worship, small group networking meetings, or the educator’s forum. If you were to participate virtually in all plenary/keynote sessions, the panel session, and one workshop during each workshop time slot, you would earn up to 14 continuing education contact hours.

Requirements to Receive CE Credits:

Attendees that request CEs will link to a webpage that has been set up for participants to log each workshop, plenary session, and/or the panel session they participated in during entire convention. Please note CEs are an additional fee of $50.

  • attend the entire session
  • complete/submit an online an evaluation for that session
  • at the end of the convention, check off on the Online CE Documentation Form (form “live” in September) that they have attended that session
